How to disable Windows messenger from starting

(Updated a few weeks ago to the new version)

I have tried again and again to stop Windows live messenger from stating (minimised) on start-up... I go through their exact process to stop it doing it... and it works fine.

...But a few days or week later it resumes self-starting.

Is this just another MS c*** feature?

(BTW: on XP)

Using the MSN options should work, but if not

start --> run --> type "msconfig".

In there go to "startup" or whatever, and untick it from there.

PANIC!
