How much do you pay in insurance?

Just curious? I finally found someone that would insure my slightly modified car! And was wondering what others pay for insurance. Admittedly my car is one of the most stolen in the country.

So, what do you pay annually? What's your excess? what car do you own?

I'll put mine in once I know it's not a stupid amount to be paying...

92 GSR, $800 ish a year, $600 Excess. I'm 23 and i go through pioneer in Napier

$800, excess varies from 1000-1500 depending on situation, National Auto Club - they're awesome, '97 Nissan Silvia Qs.

$1000 per year, $1500 Excess on at-fault accident or malicious damage, $250 excess on fire or theft.

I pay $600 a year, excess is a bit high at $800 though, also though National Auto Club. And I'm driving a 1990 Starlet GT turbo, with some mods...

Can you even get full insurance on a car worth $2k?

of course it's worth it - I don't have 2k to replace it.

even if they only gave me 1500 i'd still be able to get a new car of some sort.

anyway - I don't have that car anymore.

also if someone crashes into you and you only have third party it's a nightmare! they treat you like you don't have insurance. I just like it clean and easy.

for instance I crashed into the garage - $300 to fix my car and the garage. would have cost me 1k +

an lady crashed into me - pay nothing and no hassle fixing and no problems.

get full insurance no matter what I say.

Yeah save about an extra $100 per year with a $250 premium (down from $400)
