I watched this live on tv yesterday.
Sandra Goudie's input was disgraceful (political views utterly aside). The other National MPs arguments were spurious and fallacious, views which they attempted to defend with pure arrogance rather than reason.
Given the subject they were supposed to be debating, it made me ashamed to be a New Zealander and unfortunately only reinforced the idea that we are an intellectual backwater.
