How long does it take you to get to work?

Finally, I join the ranks of the employed!!

Working in Kilburn, bit dodgy, but only 30 minutes from door to door.

How long does it take you, and what is the longest time it's ever taken you to get to work??

First job in aussie was a 15 min walk down the road.

Last one was 50 mins door to door when I started at 7:30. when I started at 6am ( ) was 40-45.

It sucked.

Looking for another job in North sydney now, 15 min walk. Or in the central sydney cbd, which should be normal hours and about 30-40 mins.

If I walk it takes me about 30-40 minutes, but its a lovely walk, if I get a tram, probably about 20mins!

at the mo I travel 90min to get to the CBD

but when I move this weekend (yay), to artarmon itl only be bout 20min

but I am thinking they are moving me out to Bondi Jctn hmmmmm

yummy restaurants all along the front... good drinks at ravesis..... beautiful beach (ok so its tourist ville over xmas..) to go swimming at when you get home from a hard days work!

Door to door it takes me 45mins to get to work. All depends on whether the tubes are running on time etc.

20 minutes door to door on the way to work using the bus and about 35 minutes using the MRT (underground metro) on the way home.

Takes me an hour, door to door. The good thing is, its only one train so not annoying changing at shitty tube stations and I live right by the station

30 mins door to door on the tram. Lygon St to Southbank.
or 45 if I walk fast. Gets a bit hot tho if I do that.

Walk 15 mins to train
Train 10 mins to Wimbledon
Wait 20 mins for next train
Train 30 mins to Walton station
Walk 20 mins to work

= 95 mins. But its not a crowded tube - I'm mostly asleep the whole way - and I love where I live and where I work.

Plus the walking each day is the only exercise I get - and they are both really nice area's... Hang on... USED to be the only exercise I got

shit all the travels gotta suck..... it could take up to 2 hours off ur day!!

im living in nz but planning to move to aussie at the end of the year. I find working a ten hour day and then doing my exercise and eating tea i hve like an hour and a half left b4 i need to go to bed.. i couldnt possibly fit in time for 2 hours travel

spose if u lived in the cbd then it would be damn expensive??? is that right??
