How hard is it to get a US working VISA?

I'm lookng at traveling to the US of A and was wondering what peoples experiences have been when trying to obtain a VISA.

ANY information on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

I especially want to know the time it takes after your interveiw to find out if you are succesful.

Also what do you think my chances would be like?

Ok the second question is quite a hard one but was more wondering if there is hope!

its waaaaaaaaaaaaay hard, i have jsut come back myself, and am going back again in october, a working visa is a nightmare, i may end up getting a fiance visa then applying for a temp working visa but i will have to get married which is a pretty massive step for me, cash jobs are possible but hard to find and its biiiiiig trouble if u get caught.

nah, standard issue NZ'er with a couple of tablespoons of native :o)

thinking i'll just settle for a work usa temp visa.
