INTERVIEW WITH HOSH



1. Both your and Diynamic's sound has really excited the underground and club scene lately. What has influenced your artist side, and what do you try to bring into your productions?

What I try to achieve with h.o.s.h. releases is freshness for the dancefloor. There are many tunes out there at the moment that must not have been released I think. I am inspired by alot of things from other artists or music to daily impressions and whatever comes to my mind.


2. Tell us about what New Zealand can expect from your DJ sets... Which path or genres do you bring to the club?

I actually never know what to expect from my set before either Well except that its gonna be for dancing. Sure its gonna be something in between techno and house. I am always more on the groovy bouncey side of things. But i always leave it open for the party and the moment...


3. In terms of nightlife and music, so many cities are trying to be like Berlin. I really want to know, what exactly is it about Berlin's that makes it so special?

As I am not from berlin I can just tell you from my experiences playing and going out there. Berlin's just got a real strong, heavy partying scene at the moment. Clubs like panorama bar but also places like bar 25 stand for no boundary parties, and it gives a lot of room for a party to develope. It can be really crazy! I think this and that there are so many good people living there or coming there to party makes it the special place.


4. Stimming's album was great, Solomun's album is out in September. How about yourself, any plans for an album? Spill some secrets..

Actually my album was planned for october/november too. but i might not make it til beginning of next year. I just have to many other projects at the moment and I also just don´t wanna just deliver an album just because its about time. What I can already say is that there are gonna be some nice projects on it with other artists I love musically and personally.


5. I'm really curious to hear your favourite 3 tracks of now that come to mind. Which artists or labels are super hot in the box of H.O.S.H. ?

oh, this one is hard. What immedeately comes to my mind artist wise what i played more then one track of in the last sets is Robert Dietz, Super Flu and sure Solomun and Stimming.


6. And last one, what does music mean to you?

Music was my first love and it will be my last. ( if my girlfriend reads this. "baby i love you a lot too!" )

Venue Change

Due to very recent and unforeseen circumstances on A'isha's behalf, they are unable to open until further notice. A'isha management extend their apologies for the temporary matter. Thefore the Diynamic/HOSH party this Thursday has been accordingly and easily relocated.

Very simply, the event is now relocated to a new venue. It's a solid and favourite club - Trench.

It's a fantastic night ahead that everyone must pop down to. No need to drama, everything still stays the same with regards to the event, cover charge only, etc. Just note that it's at a different venue.

Apologies for any inconveniences. Please assist in spreading the message around for the HOSH event. To many this now means the party is in even a hotter spot of a venue! Thanks to Trench Bar for their assistance, the good people there are very ready in terms of sound, hospitality, and vibe to especially crack this event.
