Just got my passport back in the mail today with my shiny new 5 year visa extension! 2 more years til I get my passport!

Has anyone done that citizenship test? What are the questions like? Is it hard?

flat mate did it.. reckons it's easy.. there some stupid book that goes with it.

I think individual siutations do differ.

I know someone with an ancestry visa and its costing them lawyers fees of up to £750.00 + a 4 month waiting period.

Just got my work to pay for the 5 year extention. One year for indefinite leave to remain, then I'll think about jumping ship to somewhere else

So how long do ya need to stay for to get a passport? I've got a 5 yr ancestry and am thinking stay till I get it and cruise??

6 years for a passport....but you need to have held the 'Indefinite Leave to Remain' visa for minimum of 12 months before you can apply.
