breaks is huge in sydney, i fucking hate those breaks kids, they're all pretentious fucks who are either into the music because 'its cool', drugged up munters or promiscuous posers. ive never seen a trendier crowd since back in the days of the snooty dnb kids from remuera in auckland (although i think those days are over??)

to me breaks music just sounds like sped up hiphop or slowed down dnb. its ok but i wouldnt go out of my way to go to a gig because of the crowd it attracts.

never really been to a breaks gig, so i carnt comment on the crowd... its never really done it for me tho (the music), dunno why, although i have heard a few good tracks every now and again, i think some of the cheesy old skool samples grate on me a bit much.

in ak those days are defintely not over, just its different remers kids at the gigs. most of the dnb fans in ak i know grew up in remuera.
