i watched detonate, cant say i like it, overboost is much better!! to much of ketzal being a 'funny guy'.. with justin (the drifter) and all that bomb crap, its not even that funny, it was on high octane 4, but thats my 2 cents worth aye!

that is the only R34 Nissan Skyline GTR NUR (the NUR stands for Nurburgring) in the country

the only thing better is the Nismo Z-tune, but that NUR spec had been modified to buggery, puts out over 550HP AT THE WHEELS!

I bought Detonate and watched it last nite, loved it, as usual like every other High Octane they show you mint as cars then tell you fuck all about them which pisses interested people like me off but you don't buy it for that, its extremly entertaining, well done and funny as, you can see the guy's production skills getting better with every new installment

yeah R34NUR is an amazing piece of engineering excellence, needless the say the dude who owns it is loaded... (his other vehicle being an Audi RS6 wagon.... to take the dogs out on the weekend... 450BHP V8 twin turbo wagon!)

That Skyline will snot anything on the street and worry a number of race cars on the track in a big way

As for production quality. Yes, Shae and Grant have massively improved the fiming/sound side of it and the co-editor Neamo is also rocking it.

Nah, but im a picky bastard, some of the cars they show I'd love to know more about, a lot more.. Like that Norwegian (or whatever) guys blue series 8 RX7, that thing was awesome but a bit under power (450BHP) would love to know how far he's gone with the 13b block, I realise they can't show everything but I take the High Octane series as more just entertainment rather than something I can use to learn more about cars. What pisses me off is they do stuff like 'this engine... is really shiny...' its funny but I'd much rather hear 'This RB26DETT runs a Jun 2.8litre stroker kit and gets its awesome motivation from non other than the mighty HKS T51R SPL turbo making in total 1000BHP' etc etc sometimes you do get that but the only info you get is about the engine, I'd like to hear about suspension and possible brakes as well.
