"hibernating" a laptop

Any issue with doing this as opposed to "Shutting down" all the time?

Becuase, going back to my stupid fuckin router issue...

if I 'hibernate', when finished, next time I turn oin the laptop it connects to the wireless...

If I 'shut down' it doesnt connect.

no not really. except it will eventually need a reboot otherwise it will probably crash or start giving problems. and you definitely need to reboot after the monthly MS patches and generally when installing new programmes. a proper reboot once a week is mostly good enough. if not you will find out.
