The last I remember hearing was the news about the French defense lawyer he hired to represent him.

I don't think he hired him, I think the guy said he would do it...

do we even know where he is gonna go to trial, or even if he is gonna have one

years from now, probably just before the next election (the one after this one)... he'll surface for trial

Saddams nephew wrote to the lawyer asking him to represent him. Hired by the family I believe.

He will have a trial but I agree with thechad - it will be used as a political stage with timing of it.

The last i heard he was being a 'very unco-operative prisoner'
