Hav u ownd a Corvette Stingray '79 b4?

i know they GUZZ bg time... if you grab a goodie any thought on expenses/maintance - stuff that has a rep for breakin lots?

any 'vette specific parts are going to cost you a fucking bomb, and be really hard to get here.

having said that, being that a small block chev is probably the most common v8 in the world, engine stuff should be sweet.

Any car pre-1988ish is likely to cost a bit in maintenance.
Going for a pre 1980 car that was never sold here new, and would have to be specially imported in the first place means you better be ready to spend a fortune on it. If you're not, don't even consider buying it!

yeah - my dad has just finished a mini-restore on a 79 fox body mustang, and finding parts for the sunroof proved too much of a pain in the arse, it ended up being easier to pull it out and weld it up. things like that are what will kill you.

engine/driveline = same issues as any other 25+ year old car, everything else = $$$$

sweet - so basically engine is sweet(ish) - providing its in good working orderto begin with - but bidy parts and accessories will be tricky and probably expensive.
