Has the unthinkable happened to you?

Sat down and watched NZ beat England the other night at the rugby ..... and realised it doesnt interest me so much anymore

I've watched about 4-5 times as much sport (in general) since leaving nz. prolly about 3 times as much rugby.

I guess part of the fun with the rugby is getting together with my friends that are kiwis and sharing a beer or four while the game is on.

I love watching the rugby over here..just not the super 12!

never been into sport much. i used to watch a bit of rugby with dad when i was at home, but nothing over here really. a little bit of live cricket sometimes. but i'm there mostly for drinking beer in the sun

id have to agree with spike on this one, although watching cricket is about exciting as watching a coat of paint dry. id rather be listening to music in the sun having a beer with mates

Made a huge effort to stay up for the ruggers last Saturday, pity
i was too blind to remember any of the game....gutted!

Though on the plus side had a primo time at Slinky in Bournemouth,
really nice club considering how big it is. All the big clubs in London
i've been to so far have been grot holes.

Watching the All Blacks perform the Haka last Saturday morning was Price-less.... they performed it with such fury...

There were a few of us very proud kiwis round in a flat in Acton watching the massacre in Dunedin........

I've always loved watching our national sports teams compete, though I'm kicking myself for not going along and watching a day of the lords test match.


Its off to France in November for a TEST MATCH against the frogs.

I finished work just in time to catch the haka. There was some serious heart in that performance. Carlos leads it well.

I prob dont watch it as much here cause its an effort to actually go out to a pub and watch a game,but I want to go out and watch a few big matches live just because its so easilly acessible compared to back home

I enjoyed it but spent a lot of time just talking with my mates. There was one guy there who'd just flown in from NZ on business and he seemed most interested in it-buying us beers too, sweet! I'll go to the pub and watch it again this weekend-good for a laugh but I never get worked up about losing.
