Well the company has to prove that they can't easily hire a UK citizen to do the job, but most companies can bullshit their way around that easily enough.
Sounds rather complicated though. First of all you'll need to know what companies have a presence over in the UK, then one's that will transfer staff (a lot won't, and proabably not a question you want to ask at an interview). Then it would probably depend on what job you're actually doing with them. Then you have to actually get a job with them, then ask about transfers.... be easier just to try on another visa maybe? Or risk it and go over, then look for a job there that will sponsor you?
