After having my RCA leads linking from my mixer to my stereo confiscated, I went and brought some new ones from the warehouse.
Pretty cheap, only $6.99, however I've noticed the quality of sound has dropped a little.
Is it the RCA leads themselves? Would I need to buy new ones and spend a little more money on them this time round to get that sound quality back?
the ones that are pinkish are fucking excellent, bought a pair from dick head smiths ages ago, really tightly clamped rca connections and good quality wire and fucking durable....
fuck that was a sell and a half!! give me a job JEFFTHECHEF!!
Yeah, baynsey, one thing I did learn from my forays into car audio is that here is no substitute for decent gold plated RCAs. As Colgate says, the oxygen free ones are good too.
Be careful, or you can get out of control. In my old car stereo (before it got ripped off) I had three sets of 3M leads and they cost $70 each. Now that was crazy. :-/
