I def agree with the team award. Look I love the kiwis but there is a hell of a lot more work going into winnign that rowing twice than winning a world cup that only really 2 countries max 3 have a chance to win.

Fair call I guess but you they might have considered that Dixon won the equivalent of the masters and was the number one ranked in the world as he won the Indy race and the year-long series. In that respect it's hard to compare a single junior/amateur tournament victory.

Lee might be the best in the long run but the awards, at the rowing twins proved, seem to be about those who've been the best in the past year plus have shown consistency over time.

I confess I care little for Motorsport Rob... so perhaps my view of Scotts achievements are not balanced. FWIW though Danny did a lot more than just win the US amateur

Pretty abysmal results... how Canterbury didn't make the team of the year nominations beats me...

Not much this year and I do realise its sports team of the year but who cared if they bombed out in every other race this year. They have succesfully defended their title at the olumpics and its never been done before.
