Can anyone help me finding a good hairdresser?

I've seen some coupons in the Ms London magazine which offer half price cuts, or a free colour with your cut, but am a bit skeptical.

I know there aren't many chicks that post in Nexus, so guys, where do your (girl)friends go to get their hair done? Can they reccommend a good place?

You know my haircut pony.

This is partly because hairdressers just aint up to the same standard as home.

Heres a couple of tips: flamboyant queens are good hairdressers. And don't go to a place in a predominantly black area (they won't know how to deal with your hair)

Okay pony I have a formal recommendation for ya, but we can't remember the name of it sorry Very Happy

Here are our combined directions, make of them what you will!

Basically if you get off the Northern Line at Clapham Common tube station, cross the road to the north and walk about 30 seconds along "The Pavement" (name of the street) back towards the Common, there are a couple of hairdresser shops on your right.
The one with lots of huge round white chinese lanterns hanging everywhere inside is the one you want, you can't miss them through the window. The recommended hairdresser is Amanda, if she's still there.

Sorry I don't have the name of the place, but you can probably do a Google or Scoot or upmystreet.co.uk search on Hairdressers on The Pavement, Clapham Common and find it fairly easily, just ring and ask if they have the lanterns!!

Buena Suerte!! (Good luck)

let us know how you get on Smile
