Here we are loling about Kallis' hair piece, and REACTION is trying to claim that it's not! Even claiming that Kallis has 2 different hair colours as part of some kind of South African fad that we don't know about!!

Another choice phrase: "Hair replacement therapy" (Just want Bollinger says... LOL)

MOST OBVIOUS HAIRPIECE EVER!

No honestly! He dyes just the top of his hair so that when he's sweating it stays dry and lighter colour than the bottom! It's a fad in South Africa don't you know!?

Being a man with thinning hair myself, and doing a lot of research into it, I know that it has nothing to do with how much money you have. It's actually not possible to regrow or replace hair that is not there any more.

But you can live happy in your delusion mate.

This is him with his new hair implants, do you honestly think that is a hairpiece? Where do you get your flimsy receding hairline hairpieces from?

And right there you proved my point. Obvious hair treatment, hair pieces don't come looking like the guy still needs more hair. He is not DB.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Yes they fucking do! Hairpieces look exactly like that second picture... awkwardly perched atop some healthy sides... no seat because pieces of plastic can't sweat... you can still see underneath it because it's one solid piece hanging over the forehead.

"Hair replacement therapy" is essentially a myth that companies peddle to rope in the vulnerable. Trust me, I've spent a lot of my time on this subject, and discussed it with numerous medical professionals.

Very, VERY different to the so called 'hair replacement therapy', and worlds apart from Mr Kallis. Myself and a number of friends are on the same and have varying degrees of success. Finasteride & minoxidol definitely work, but they take time. A minimum of 4 months is required to start rebuilding hair growth, and you're talking 9-18 months to achieve and maintain peak results... again nothing like Kallis.

Shane Warne

Shane Warne was never bald like Kallis. Neither was Michael Vaughan.

Martin Crowe (on the same ads as Warne) has even accidentally admitted on TV that his hair is "shipped in" from overseas.

Cute that you think it's possible though!

Is this different from hair transplant? Cause there's a poker player called Abe Mosseri who is definitely having some success with that, he was quite open talking about it amongst the table chatter in a show a while back. I can't remember exact details but they were taking hair from the sides and implanting it on the top and it grows again, is that what you're talking abuot?

better to just accept that you're losing/lost your hair than waste your time, effort and money in trying to cover it up imo. i used regaine for a few years but then thought fuck it, what's the point? better to just accept it, and move on...
[quote]
Doesn't make sense to me codpiece... I mean I agree it's better to accept who you are than to hide it with a hair-piece, but what if you can change yourself through treatment? That's not hiding.. Seems a legitimate pursuit to me

Hair transplant methods are improving but it's high risk - you see some truly horrific results. I think if he's looking good from it he is in a fortunate minority. Jump on youtube to see some very scary results!

When you go to Ashley and Martin (medical treatment guys) they walk you through any number of different actions. Some of it is as simple as diet changes, but mostly the treatments are (as neil mentioned) Finasteride (active drug in Propecia) and Minoxidil (active drug in application products like Rogaine). If you catch it early enough something like 80% of people can have good results, but it still takes time, and you have to catch it early. Once a follicle has closed completely you can *never* regrow it.

If someone just crops up out of nowhere with a full head of hair, it's a hair piece. I'm pretty sure places like Advanced Hair Studio have a similar broad approach and help guys based on the severity of their condition. So someone like Shane Warne would have just been put on finasteride and it would have sorted him, because he wasn't actually bald... just thinning.

This video sums it up:

losing your hair is not that bad...if you just accept it and shave it all off, you'll never have a bad hair day again. i just don't see the point in angsting about something which is 'you', ie your genes. and i used to fairly vain about my hair...i began noticeably losing it around 21 though, and have been shaving my head since around the same age, graduating from number 1 to number 0 to a sometimes razor job.so i've had a fair amount of time to accept it.

with a shaved head, it's low maintenance (depending on how often you cut your hair) and you never have to buy shampoo again!

i'd prefer not to take something which fucks around with my hormones, as i could get treatment relatively cheap if i wanted (parents are pharmacists).

i'm also pretty much the baldest in my family (including my deceased granddad and poppa!)

Hair loss can also lead a man to have a poor body-image and a low self-esteem, especially among those who are affected by it in their early 20’s.This leads them to feel insecure and fear what the people around them might think. It can worsen especially when they are subjected to jokes and ridicule.

What most people don’t know is that aside from the receding hairline and hair loss, there are also phsychological factors here at play.

@ coddy...thoery is all good excpet not everyone looks decent with a shaved dome. Im thankful I have sturdyish hair b/c I have a large noggin and I would look prety freakish chrome domian styles. I doubt I would get transplant or rug tbh... would just wear hats everywhere, but more power to guys who want to take it further imo
