Greek Islands

After hearing so much about the Greek Islands, its time to head there and see what all the fuss is about.

I'm really interested to know from those who have been, what is the best way to book accomodation (prior to leaving London or book when you get there?), which are the best islands to go to, average food & travel prices etc...

Arriving in Athens August 10th - Then head back to London Aug 19th.

I've only been to Kefalonia in the Adriatic and I stayed at Greezys dads house, so I'm no good for prices etc, although food and booze was about average prices for that area of Europe. All I can say is watch your back in Athens, especially in taxis. If they have even the slightest incling you don't know where you are going they will take you for a ride. Little known fact about taxis there is if you've hired one, they can still pick up people if they're going the same way!

Have a look at some return flights from from London to Athens August 11th - 19th. A mate of mind just jumped on board and paid close to £180.00 return.

Fot that price I guess I'll just go to .... Aussie

This place is like Ibiza. Probably even better.
Staying at a Mongrel campsite with its own beach. Never seen water so blue.
