remember the running man? that was always a goer Smile
and the good ole side step, side to side, side to side...that was a real winner at school socials!!
[quote]
I want to punch people who tango/couple dance on crowded dancefloors....

Or grab someones cigarette and stub it out in their faces.

As I'm a pacifist, you can tell how strongly I feel about these wankers.
[quote]
The lastest craze (ask NOS Pig) Is dodgy old man hip thrusts!

Hehe Smile
[quote]
hmmm yeah especially when they break out into the rock and roll moves and just spinning each other round.....go ballroom dancing for that kinda shit !!
[quote]
Have to agree with you Lucan (albeit in not quite as a vitriolic manner), it is annoying and not very nice for others.
[quote]
Nothing compares tp the drunken stagger... Or my new favourite the packing boxes... Or the good old lost my guns found my guns.

You can't stop the thunderbolt
[quote]
dodgy old man hip thrusts....hmmm sounds sexy!! not Razz

or what about the "pogo" like the punks do and jump up and down all over the place body slamming each other....mental!!
[quote]
Jono....do you know the one ....bounce the ball throw the ball...or the airhostess dance??!! hehehe
[quote]
Ask Sam Hill about clap, point, clap, point and sometimes clap, clap, point, point!

hehe Smile

Yay for Bungle Smile
[quote]
hmmm sounds a bit like those ravers that furiously point to the sky nonstop...hmmmmm
[quote]
makin love to the crowd.....disco fevah......
slide.....slide.....point.....slide
[quote]
Yea I invented the throw the ball bounce the ball... Gotta love the Viaduct favourite the boxer, plus when a fight inevitably breaks out you already got your guard up.

[quote]
Ferksta will have some goodies for you too
[quote]
it really twists my nightie when girls...and yes i am a girl....when they just flick their long hair about ....like they think it is really sexy....flick flick flick...damn flickers!!
[quote]
OOOOO HAIR FLICKERS MAKE ME SO
ANGRY!!!! TIE IT BACK!!!!
[quote]
Yup - gotta agree with the hairflicker comment! Grrrr! It is NOT SEXY! It seems to be a bit of a boozehag dance move that one.
[quote]
the bloody hair flickers when your all sweaty and you get it on you! grrrrrrrrrrrr
[quote]
Perosnally I dislike when people smoke on the dance floor. First of all ciggys are not glowsticks, rings or whatever. Secondly I've been burnt so many fucking times by some idiot flailing a smoke around. At Siren's release party way back when I almost took one to the eye.
[quote]
my dodgy mate nickabbo pulled a very nice "apeman"
at the almost deserted renaissance event a coupla months ago. it was so beautifully done you could tell he'd been doing it for years
[quote]
yeah.....not nice when there flicking and it flicks in your mouth bllaahhhh.
[quote]
BF - lf - [cb]
[quote]
Yea the ape goes off. Me and one of my mates always break out the ape in honour of an empty dancefloor.
[quote]
well enjoy this crazy dance move post....i can go home now cos i've been given shopping leave..yahhh avo off!!! weeheee
[quote]
I perfected making pancakes last week at kiss bar, ive incorporated pouring milk, cracking eggs and using an eggbeater as well as the flipping motion. I will be making pancakes at potato and wobble this weekend if anyone is hungry Smile
[quote]
Wobbly Potato Pancakes?
[quote]
for real daflash??? I AM SO THERE!!!!!
[quote]
That was classic last week DaFlash. Are you going to wash the dishes afterwards? Be careful you don't drop any plates if you do.
[quote]
get a few people to grab the plates off the shelf and put them on the table.....then you need to dribble on the syrup, and roll them up......
[quote]
Who knows the tea pot and the bus?
[quote]
well for those of you who have seen the "crazy" "slap the bitch dance..." you know who you are.....
then there is always: Riding the pony; mowing the lawns; motorbike;drivin the bus.......
[quote]
The spider. Now that's fucked up.
[quote]
every one has forgotten the "dJ" you know the one where they try to look as tho they are mixing, the bouncers who manage to take up a whole dance floor as they bounce on their heels along the length of it! the bus driver, the latin dancer, the go go dancer (chicks normally, but i have seen a few guys do it to) the line dance, and my personal favourite, teh circle dance where a group of about 20 people dance in a circle & take up more room than 20 people can!!
[quote]
Caz. They're not loosly based on me are they?? :o) I've tried to tell you when I do the DJ thing im actually CONTROLLING the music!! Well, at least it scratches when I do :o)

But then theres the race car driver (worse is the bus driver), the line dance has so many variations (especially on speed to a hard house set (LOOK OUT)) and the running man.
[quote]
whatever does it for you, right Smile

The girls that just bounce up and down "Ketamine Girls" that just cracks me up...makes my night every time I see it...a hoppin and a boppin all over the show

ooo ooo ooo and the bottle in one hand cigarette in the other...acck gotta hate it when a munted huge dude with no shirt falls on yah..ahh well thats the breaks I spose..least he said sorry Smile well was more like saaawewwwy

[quote]
The handbrake... a friend of mine has one bicep much bigger than the other from too many nights out dancing using this particular move...
[quote]
How about the perennial favorite, the one handed chop.
lifting boxes,
or boogie nights impersonations.
[quote]
Stacking and restacking boxes has always been a favourite of mine.
Quite often though i really don`t know what i am doing and need to rely on observer friends to tell me what it looked like. Driving or being a steam train is another favourite.
[quote]
The Charlies Angel's look. (Human Traffic) Classic
[quote]
Hey Moo, is that "clap, point, clap, point" move the one that looks like they're on a stepping machine? Thats is classic!
[quote]
Hehehe, sometimes the handbrake can go on for hours with some peeps ah? Every now and then it looks like there's a bit of gear shifting going on, but it's hard to tell.
[quote]
hmm....sounds like the handbrke would go pretty well with the "toot toot" "beep beep" moves !!Smile
You'd get some awesome driving dacning moves with a combo of these!
[quote]
dust the shelf.....rodeo....rodeo lassoo...shopping trolley (easily confused with the lawnmower dance)...the "what's over there?" dance....cake bowl mix....drive the bus...honk the horn....drunken boxing....the chicken tonight dance (yes...people do actually do this!)...
[quote]
Clap, point, toot, beep, shuffle (switch sides)

If you imagine it with the score in 'Empire' where Han Solo is flying the Millenium Falcon through the asteroid field, it gets pretty intense!
[quote]
big fish little fish, the box, and whatever that think is that da flash does is awesome!!!
[quote]
this si such a brilliant thread. wish i could think of more dance moves to put up here. i can see them just cant put alot of them into words...
[quote]
Transtemporal, stick 5 guys together doing the same thing and you have a boy band :o)
[quote]
Actually the Drunken Master is the shit, the trick is to not actually be pissed or you'll fall over. Then give the impression that you're pissed and struggling for balance but dance so bad ass in a Kung Fu Drunken Master sorta way that those around you know that you not pissed. I saw a guy at 76 doing this once, have my own varaition but it's a lot different as stealing anothers dance moves without bringing anything to it is wrong.
[quote]
Haha nice one sarin! Thats exactly right!
