Saturday 3rd October 2009 | 10pm-6am
ELLERSLIE RACECOURSE | 80-100 Ascot Avenue - Greenlane East

Since the very dawn of dance in the early 1990's, the name Godskitchen has been
synonymous with the worlds best DJs gathering to rock the worlds biggest and best parties!

Starting out as a burgeoning series of underground Trance parties in the UK, today
sees Godskitchen firmly established as one of the worlds undisputed dance culture
powerhouses and unparalleled clubbing super brands. From record-breaking club nights
to successive global sell-out compilations, and from the annual 50,000-strong
Global Gathering to the weekly madness that is AIR Nightclub, there is little, albeit nothing,
that this deeply respected and cherished icon hasnt achieved.

For close to nine years, the Godskitchen juggernaut has been traveling to New Zealand
shores and delivering inimitable, unforgettable arena parties. Featuring massive lineups
sparkling with the worlds biggest DJ stars, and boasting awe-inspiring decor, world-class
lighting/laser racks and state-of-the-art effects; GK events, as they're affectionately
known and loved, have become a deliciously regular and highly-anticipated fixture on
the local special event calendar.

Godskitchen 2009 is guaranteed to make Heaven a place on Earth, even if its for one night only!

Over 10 boundary-pushing years, Cosmic Gate has evolved into one
of the most creative and highly-sought-after electronic music acts
in the world. This German duo can be found week in week out
performing at the world’s leading clubs, events and European festivals
like Trance Energy, Global Gathering, Cream and Sunrise.

A permanent fixture, in the DJ Mag top 100 confirms Cosmic Gate
amongst the elite of dance music’s most famous and popular DJs.
Success after success with their own original productions has been
accompanied by an impressive repertoire of Cosmic Gate remixes,
for artists like Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Oceanlab,
Rank 1 and Blank & Jones among a few.

Seven artist albums and 15 hit singles. That says it all.
Piet Blank and Jaspa Jones have had a big part in electronic
music over the last 14 years.

From their chart topping hit tracks – Cream, Desire, Miracle Cure,
Catch, Nightfly & Beyond Time, to their more recent and current
artist albums, compilations and DJ performances, along with their
sell out festival appearances and club events all over the planet;
Blank & Jones have truly defined themselves to a generation;
showing themselves to be two of the most harmonious songwriters
on the contemporary electronic scene - artists who simply don't stand
still and whose clearly defined ambitions aim only at further innovation.

Few people can claim to have been at the pinnacle of their profession
for a sustained period of time, having enjoyed so much success and
still be leading the way forward. John 00 Fleming is one of few artists
in dance music that has preserved underground respect whilst
enjoying commercial success during a career spanning two decades
awarding him the sort of experience that most other DJs can only
dream of.

His ability to transcend genres in a quest to take great music to the
masses, has resulted in a unique and sought after sound that is
purely ‘JOOF’. A pioneering producer and DJ, John 00 Fleming has
led his own sonic movement, respected by artists across the globe
from Moby and Muse to Jean Michel Jarre.

John has sold 10 million records, with singles on over 100 mix
compilations and has remixed a cross section of elite artists from
Erasure to Nine Inch Nails. He has had 10 mix compilations and 5
singles in the UK Top 40 charts on labels including Virgin, EMI and
Warner Music.

In clubs, warehouses, basements, festivals and charts across the
world, John 00 Fleming has well and truly earned his reputation as
one of the most in-demand and well respected artists in dance music.

From her chart topping singles ‘As The Rush Comes’ with Motorcyle,
‘Everything’ with Tiësto, ‘Like A Waterfall’ with Solarstone to her
numerous releases on Tiësto’s Magik Muzik & Black Hole Recordings
and appearances all over the globe; Jes has had nothing short of a
spectacular career thus far.

She also graced Tiësto’s newest artist album Elements of Life with
the song Everything and continues to wow crowds as the opening artist
for the Tiësto Worldwide Tour of 'Elements Of Life'.

Tommy Trash is one of the newest prodigies to the Australian dance scene.
In just 18 months his original electronic compositions can already claim
peak numbers of #3 and #5 on the ARIA Club Chart plus a top 10 Beatport
record all of which feature spots on the Ministry of Sound Annual 2007,
Pacha 2007 Annual, MOS Sessions 4, MOS Sessions 5. And that’s not even
mentioning his internationally acclaimed remixes.

Tommy may have hung about the scene as a professional musician for the
last 10 years but this humble musician/keys player/songwriter/producer/DJ
has well and truly made his mark on the dance world. And this is only
the beginning....

From the days of attending nearly all club events, in order to watch
and learn from the huge range of international djs that graced the decks
in his native Melbourne. To his present day position of regularly djing
alongside and providing killer productions and remixes that grace the
cd wallets of DJ's such as Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Eddie Halliwell
& John Askew; Mike Nichol is no five minute wonder or passing sensation
but the real deal in every sense of the phrase.

Coupling his unique sound, cutting edge productions and an ear for
quality dance music with one of the most energetic and technically flawless
styles of djing he is truly a dj that leaves dancefloors and clubbers
astounded and wanting more.

FAIL. Course it was Rank 1.

It was their re-hash of Cosmic Gate's Analog Feel that got me confused their for a bit.

Sublime stuff none the less. More tech-trance please to be you!

Jared you delivered hugely on the production - all i heard all night was people scrambling to get under the co2 cannons. The LEDs behind the booth were awesome and a great lighting, the blue made those green lasers amazing.

Cosmic Gate rocked the house. Chagall with his loops, working the crowd, it was great. You can see they both love their jobs. Special moment was hearing the crowd sing along to find yourself.

Biggest tunes for me were Children (jerome isma-ae remix) and Jochen Millers Brace Yourself.

One of the best GKs iv been too.

Am so looking forward to seeing what incline will do with summerdayze after seeing the amazing job done with GK.

Huge.
