Being the egotistical manic I am, I will reply to my own post =)

May went off, exactly what I was hoping for, a journey from tech funk, to phat house, driving techno.... The whole spectrum.

And I am pretty sure everyone had an amazing time, good energy all round....

Yep, had a really great time, brilliant last hour of techno....the new Johannes Heil and Samuel Sessions tracks sounded incredible...

Full props to Mike W and The Area crew for putting it on, excellent to see May back in action - wicked!

Fav. tracks were the new Octave One rmx of KSR and the new Len Faki, good to hear it on a good system...
Great to see May dropping plenty of techno - he does like his bongo doesn't he

Surprisingly Bed was just right for the night (don't know about the gold decor tho - where was Tim C with his golden Fararri jacket when you need him?)

For sure...he's the man!!!
Can't beleive how fast he beat matches tracks and then throws them together - hardest working DJ I've ever seen!
Going from cheeky disco, soul infused funk to mental stomping techno then back again - very sick!!!

hmm dunno why but I didn't get into it... occasionally yeh... but found myself reminding myself to dance. Prolly just me....

glad everyone else enjoyed it - I took a few photos - will re-examine them and decide whether they are good enough for biggie.....

I heard a rumour that Matt D was caught with a Glow Stick on the night =)

Think he played more house than you were expecting tho peat? :0

ahhh, a great time was had.. Derrick May fully satisfied my palate... go Detroit! was pleasantly surprised with Bed, very nice (specially upstairs)... more please!
