the reason i made this thread was after just listening to the new GU Mixed 2 comp.. why on why are GU spawning out comp after comp of average dance music.. they kind of making themselves into another wana be Ministry of Sound?

Im very spectical of who they gonna come up with for the next GU CD.

So rather than continuing to lament the fall of Global Underground how about we list some alternatives?

What's the best mixes you've herd recently?

Ignoring whether they are strictly 'progressive' or not my recent favourites would be...

this is sander kleinenberg

and

toolroom knights vol.1 mixed by martijn ten velden and paul harris

One of my fav mix cds was an audio Therepy one. Double cd, dave seaman, fucking aweful mix, but the Luke chable mix is wicked!

I'm with rips with sander. That whole series has been awesome I think.

Most renaissance mix cd's are pretty good.

The mixes on Proton Radio are bloody good to!

word on both counts... i suggest that if you ever make the stupid decision to give up the chance of seeing luke fair live, you should wrap your hand in skateboard grip tape and yank one off while dousing it in salt and vinegar with your spare paw... luke is worth the effort and thats on a school night.
