*ahem* Typo's haha. It's not like we spelt it right on the front and then forgot how to spell it by the time we got to the inside Laughing

Technically it's a typo not a spelling mistake. Wink

good to see ryan up there....nice work bro Smile
[quote]
Did not think much of the slinky light show rather pathetic i reckon so knowing seb and chris i reckon they should do a damn site better job than that one.

Like you fiesty the more pretty lights the better i say, even if you dont spent as much on the sound and put it into lighting you cant go wrong.

Anyway see you all sat night i am not going to miss this one eh!!!!!

I got a night off to enjoy it to the max!!!

If anyone wants to flick me a mix CD on the night I'll get it up on Audiogenus asap...

Didn't think it was that quiet, just a bit spread out... Thought it was a good number for a local gig. And when Anubis was playing was a pretty solid main room dance floor.
[quote]
Ryan did play pretty dam well but he wasn't the only one to throw down a good set.

Numbers were pretty good for an all local gig, it's a massive area over all three zones so it can seem like their are less people than there really are.

I had a really good time, hope you guys do another one soon, keep it pumping.

Music
[quote]
Oh yeah and the main room visuals were freakn sweet!

$10 was a bargain.
[quote]
Have to agree with ya Nath. I thought there was a good sized crowd there for there first Global. Bloody good job guys, bring on the next one.
[quote]
4 sure it's a massive area 3 zones to cover...
[quote]
Yeah well done guys...I had a great time and it was good to see such strong support for a local gig...i think this is what we need more of!!
Well done Chris and Seb!!

with that in mind Nrgize is putting a night on at The Drop in February for those who like strictly cutting edge underground stuff featuring an all local line up (the first nrgize like it in 4 years!!!

will post details up asap
[quote]
Yep CONGRATS FROM ME, the main dancefloor kept me pumping from 11pm till 5.15am, when my legs gave out and i had too go home Sad .

Could of done with a 4 more wee moving lights on top of the square trusses.

But all in all a damn fine job.

Looking forward too the next one.

Thanks to all of you that came down and supported it on Saturday! It will be the first of many and hopefully it just gets bigger and better...

We got approxamatly 400 through the night so we're both extremely happy for a first event.

Also, consider submission doors permanently open for future Global's. Please e-mail any through to global@nitrate.co.nz...

Wow! 400 for the first night! That is great. Well done guys. I'm really impressed with the initial level of support. You know how reluctant many people are to try something new, so its good that it went well.

Awww thanks Jaclyn! And thanks to everyone who came out to Global! We thought it was a great turnout for a new brand and definitely the start of something really exciting. Great sets from Ryan and Sam especially but all DJs seemed to be right on form, top work all round! Keep your eyes peeled for a smaller scale Global shindig coming on the 16th Music
