Just off the topic a little, but just heard on Te Radio that that the rainfall for the TGA flood events have been finalised and Otumoetai got 239 mm (around that value anyway) in 1hr!!!!
This is the highest amount for 100 years, hence the term once in a hundred year event.
Incidently the mean annual rainfall for TGA will be about 1200 - 1500mm per year.
I hope the cleanup is going Ok and no one from this forum was adversely affected
and to add last night on te news, melbourne is 100mm shy of its average rainfall for this month, the dryest may recorded while records have been kept, crazy huh yall got too much we aint got none...
anyhow id like to personally give it up to elect and akom for absolute perserverance and dedication..plus phat beats... top marks honkies
