With Sample Gee leaving NZ, and many people either loving or hating him - What do you think was his best gig/moment of glory?

Largered, Powerstation Aug 2001. No question.

When did Gee play Gatecrasher?
[quote]
Do you mean Slinky instead of GC? That was a pretty damn good set.
[quote]
Damn one of the best has 2 be the set at Slinky, that was awesome

I don't know about his best gig, but my vote for best mix would be the B side of the "Happy Vibes vol. 1" mix tape.

Here's hoping we get some bangin' hardcore tunes @ The Sound of Goodbye!

Well i'll give the guy props for the Brain being the first ever rave I went to.
[quote]
for not so much his technical brilliance but just the pure vibe he used to create at the brains about 8 years ago (maybe he still does I haven't been to one for many years)
[quote]
Good on him....not my cuppa tea the only time I heard him but he's done well.

Nice to have passion about something as he so obviously does.

Passion = Success

I give him Biggie ups and wish him all the best for the future, hope to see him grace our shores in the near future
[quote]
hehe, could the person who started this thread want to win those comp tickets to Sounds of Goodbye? I think so...

Have to agree with SiR TRaNcEALoT - the guy got a bloody encore!!!!

The Brain any year between 94-97. Had all the big tunes miles before anyone else.

Lords Of The hardskool, Hardcore Vibes, Annihalting Rhythm.

back when no one gave a fuck what it was as long as it sounded cool to dance to.

The Roadhouse in Papakura last year!!!!!!!

Sample Gee started with the Human traffic milky bars are on me speil and then just blew the crowd away with banging tune after bangin tune. You have to be a loyal fan to travel to the Roadhouse to see it but it was well worth it!!!! I danced till it hurt and then danced some more.
Not your typical dance crowd which was fun also as many people were like, wow who is this guy, he is going off.

Yep, Sample playing his 3 hour set at the Lagered Party in Welly.
One of the best nights ive ever had so far.
