Freighting a Hilux from Mount to South Island

Papamoa to Greymouth - Toyota Hilux that does not go!! Can't tow it - it's an automatic.

Do you know how this could be done, who I would contact and/or how much we are looking at in cost??

How about finding out if its possible to hire a tow truck or a flatdeck truck and get it lifted up onto it and drive to the desired destination.
otherwise you could be looking at some serious dollars to get someone to do it professionaly

That would be a mofo of a journey towing something.. towed a car westport to nelson once.. fucken stessful !!( the dork driving the towed car had no clues )

Just hire a car trailer and tow it down on that.. could be expensive tho with $ of fuel at the mo and the cost of the ferry..

can't tow - it's seized and we aren't removing the diff.

it has to be feighted but i think we have it sorted
