Free Email

What are some good free email services? I just want something without popups, and too much spam, and something that's reasonably reliable.

Yahoo mail.

i.e. yourname@yahoo.co.nz gives you 6MB and pop3 access

I get a bit of spam but the filtering is good and 95% of it goes into the spam folder

yeah, I passed on yahoo, because i couldn't get my name (on any of their domains) and i didn't want numbers and crap in it (i'm going to be using it for applying for jobs).

I haven't had many problems with my everyone.net accounts. You gotta have a good popup killer though

Probably not the best if you need it to be REALLY reliable though....but then if you want REALLY reliable you should just pay for it

Bite the bullet and get your own email domain hosted. If you're careful it costs feck all.

i like hotmail because it links nicely with my msn and i can access it anywhere unlike my work email.
alternatively i do just use my isp email address for most things
