Went out　to　this 10pm Sunday and finaly got home 10am Monday
This show surpassed anything I have ever seen before. This man just rocks. He was laying down some a mix of vocal, instrumental, soulful and always uplifting house.
He came on at 1am and finally finished at 9am, cranking out a non stop 8 hour set.
Tomi Satoshi watched the whole 8 hour set from beside him and came into the audience twice to have a boogie.
I danced front and centre for the last 4 hours of his set. The Japanese usually leave me for dead on the dance floor, but I owned my space and was cranking it hard right until the end.
This has been the first time in so long I've been that into the music that I literally won't leave the dance floor. The night was all about the music and being taken to this amazing place where the people & music became your life here, now and forever. I have no idea why, but I strarted to cry twice during the set. Things could not have been more perfect and I was just so happy.
This event epitomised what a hous event should be like.　The crowd was going off from start to finish, and was totaly one with the DJ. Hands in the air, people handing out water to others and the DJ just reading the crowd and pulling out some fantastic numbers. He dropped a couple tracks that were recoginsed but more in large played stuff you'd never heard of, and that worked so well.
If anyone has the chance to ever see Frankie Knuckles in club I could not more highly reccomedn it. I don't know that it would of worked in a bigger venue, but in a club with under 500 people there, where you could stand a metre away from where he mixed it was easily the best show I have ever seen. I don't say that lightly, as I have been to some pretty big events with huge interntionals ... but this one takes the cake.
