Alonso goes to Ferrari on a long deal - five years-ish - on the back of their new sponsor, Spanish bank Santander.

Kimi Raikkonen is going back to McLaren (with a Finnish sponsor, Nokia, allegedly due to sign).

So... who fills the good seat at Renault?

Some speculation Rosberg is moving from Williams to join Brawn - to satisfy their engine supplier, Mercedes, to have a German driver at the team.

So.. who goes to fill the seat Williams? Barrichello in a straight swap?

Big question marks over Renault and Williams 'main' driver seats.

SO he signed a 3yr deal starting next year well happy with that! He is awesome and this gives me a reason to cheer for Ferarri who I have never liked!

I hope Kimi goes back to McLaren, Heikki just isn't fast enough and seeing Kimi in that red car doesn't sit right with me.

I hope Rubens get to stay at Brawn as well, as he deserves the chance to win a World Championship, and I just can't see the Renault being fast enough... If it's even on the grid next year.

Kimi,... I'd hate to see him back at McLaren - with Lewis being there it'd just be a de-motivator for someone like him I reckon. I'd hope he went to Renault to be honest and then wiped the floor with everyone. That would be funny...

Really? Haven't been watching it much? There are probably as many consolidated passed in F1 as there is in IRL.

Bring on the JPS style

- Barichello to Williams (Rosberg to Brawn?)
- Alonso to Ferrari (Raikkonen out)
- Kubica to Renault (taking Alonso's seat)


Heidfeld and Raikkonen currently without drives. Potential seats which might be on offer include perhaps Kovalainen's at McLaren and Trulli's at Toyota (assuming Rosberg goes to Brawn).
