Formatting Netbook

Need advice on this please -- it should be pretty basic really

Got a netbook in the States a few weeks ago and it came with all these bs "free" programs and now I'm getting weird driver conflicts and installing new drivers isn't solving the problem so I just wanna start again i.e. format hard drive and reinstall windows.

So I have the Win7 installation DVD that came with the netbook but of course netbook doesn't have a DVD drive

Have googled it of course, but there's not a lot of consistency in the different websites /forums I've read, so was hoping Biggie techy massive could suggest the best way to do it

You need a 2gb+ USB key. Format it to FAT32, then copy ALL the files from the DVD onto the USB key. Then boot from it (probably need to hit a key at startup to get the boot menu).

Or pop over, I have dis ting all prepared and can do it in my sleep. The fact that you have dicky driver issues suggests you probably shouldn't be having a tutu
