Flatmates who always have the door shut

Only time I ever see this guy is when he goes through the doorway! Or when he is telling me we need to get more bandwidth for our broadband, or when he is trying to negotiate when he is going to pay his rent.

Heh I have my door shut at home nearly all the time. I'm always paranoid that my music/TV is going too loudly so I don't want to disturb everyone else (and simply turning it down isn't preferable since I'm partially deaf (since birth)). Also my room is generally quite messy so it's less embarrassing if people can't see in

I'm quite cognisant that it looks bad though.. So I try to spend time in the lounge frequently.

Possible reasons:
- he doesn't like you
- he's introverted/anti sociable
- he's into MMO
- he smokes weed

we had this with our new flattie.
one of my mates is over from NZ at the mo and managed to catch her at a random time in the weekend.
she was just busting out to a squatters rave at a location to be advised via recorded phone line message on the night.
turns out she was spending the weekend partying hard, and the rest of the week holed up in her room recovering.
so now she knows we are all in the same boat, she recovers with us in the lounge instead of hiding away

what is MMO? some nights he seems to have a regular party in his room, and by party, i mean he'll have 5 friends all in his room - door shut, and it's not a big room by any means! he doesn't play music loud but will speak really loudly at 3am in the morning on the phone - like the other night. ps he is from another culture...

- They don't like you.
- They're geeks/weirdos.
- They're doing some sort of drug.

Further to crazy flatting - I went to a friend of a friends house last night (big old villa in grafton) there are ELEVEN flatmates. Fuck that.
