Gaaaahhh!!
Due to some cunt getting into my car with a screwdriver I've bought solex locks (and an alarm that actually works). After installing the alarm I went to see what grief putting the locks in would cause and yep, there is some to be had.
Gonna have to get an engineer to make up a part that fits the solex lock to the handle (mildly annoyed, once upon a time I could have made the part up myself but no longer have the tools, materials or workspace required).
Anyway fortunately I discovered that I know someone who rebuilds cars and has an engineer friend who makes custom bits all the time. Cool, saves shopping around (a bit difficult without a car).
But my question, while I wait till I cross paths with this guy again (he is a contractor at my work)... is this the best method? These locks get sold all the time, does everyone who buys them have to get bits made up??
