I'm currently using DD-WRT on my router, but i'd like a firmware that can show bandwidth use, and who's using it. Ideally if it could add up bandwidth used by each IP over a day/week/month that'd be great. Can any of them do this? Tomato maybe?

Pretty sure no. You could possibly do it by setting up VLAN's and assigning each user to a different VLAN, Tomato does appear to track those separately, but it's more as a bandwidth monitor, not for data transfer totals.

Just had a quick looksie and found this

http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Using_RFlow_Collector_and_MySQL_To_Gather_Traffic_Information

Looks like the router can output netflow info

The way netflow works is when a bit of info goes through the router it sends notification to a collector

I'm not sure about the rflow collector (the bit of software that collects and then reports on the info) mentioned in the article.

I use netflow anaylzer

there is a free version that limits number of interfaces to one... but since you only have one interface your care about it should be sweet.

If your after just a "what is going on right now" type tool solarwinds have a free tool that runs for an hour

Thanks Bry, it looks like both those solutions would work for me Smile The first one is kinda complex and looks like it depends on a PC being on all the time, but the 2nd just doing reporting for an hour would probably be worth a go, ta Smile
