File conversion help 24/96 - 24/44

I've been send some audio .wav files at 24 bit 96khz.. and want to convert them down to 24/44 or 16/44.

The files wont open in Wavelab (my version is about 2 years old), Soundforge or Ableton.

Anyone know of a free file converter?

Nope. Doesn't work.

try this one rob. i've used it for all kinds of stuff and it says it will change frequencies too.

Ta Silverbeat. It got sorted by my specialist guy... It was a Mac editing program created file - technically a wav - but not recognisable by PCs..
