Don't know what tunes you've been listening to, but I've found Maddox's recent stuff to be uniformly brilliant. Loving his Olive Grooves stuff, and his track 'Megatron' with Glazby on VC is an absolute monster

Yeah, It's just a style of hardhouse that we haven't really experienced down here yet. Hopefully people will be surprised Chunk chunk chunk

As for comments on Maddox, I just heard Maddox and Karim - 'Double Edged Sword', and if you don't like it you need to get your ears checked It's one thing to big up the local talent, quite another to diss someone with proven production pedigree who is still making stuff at the cutting edge of HH. Paul Maddox FTW!!!

As for Maddox , remember he is the engineer for most of the big guns,

so he pretty much makes everything , the bouncy stuff sells well in the uk ,where the harder nrg not as much ,
when you produce for a living money normally comes 1st .

I doubt he will disappoint..

So Maddox has been on a bit of a funk tip in terms of his recent releases (No bad thing though IMO). But as .strike said he's got a whole slew of new collabs about to drop on Tidy with the likes of Karim, Technikal, Rodi Style and Defective Audio! Lets hope he gives us a sneak preview

Wat a dick i listed tracks have a look on quote.Yea sweet fran, we went 2 that gig at smile was it like 7 yrs ago it was good, tight mixing, yea Clubcam played a good warm up set best i heard from him. I guess i just dont like cheezy vocals ill head along but 2 many vocals im outer there

My 2c on it is that he's a hugely versatile and prolific producer with a multitude of tracks that can appeal to a very wide audience; I'm sure he's going to absolutely tear Base apart on Saturday night.

Fair call from you though Wongie, everyone's entitled to their opinion. But musical preferences aside, I'm dead excited for this gig and think the production and atmosphere is going to ensure a good time had by all

Thats going back a while think kramer had the set after him. Abit of his newer stuff isnt to bad. Engineer's so many different people tracks that he's bound to have abit of something for everyone. Remember thrashing his remix of "never lost his hardcore".

That was one impressive night fevah christchurch. Maddox was amazing. Best set i,ve seen all year. plus crisis's set was off the hook

Thanks to everyone who came out (and those who were there in spirit, jaclyn ), it was a brilliant night. Special thanks to the Welly contingent who ventured down for the evening also, hope you enjoyed yourselves. Looking forward to big things to come from Fevah Christchurch in the near future!

P.S. Jaclyn my new harddance mix isn't far off and should somewhat resemble my set from Saturday night, with a few extra goodies thrown in Will make sure I get you a copy sharpish!
