good, if you\'ve got heaps of money... my flatmate
used to work there :0)
[quote]
nah mate for good cheap food, it would definatly be a toss up between satay village or the almighty OAKS NOODLE HOUSE!!! BO!!!.... /me waits quietly for his nasi goreng kick backs Very Happy
[quote]
La Casa Pasta for cheap Italian. It\'s like a time warp back to the good old days of dark wood panelling and big-ass mustaches
[quote]
hehehe, I agree with ya RedDeluxe

I dont really have a favourite restaurant but I like anything spicy like Thai or Indian

I just enjoy it when I can go out and someone else cooks for me instead of me doin the cooking
[quote]
anyone been to satay village??? we used to come in from silverstream just to have a huge feed!!

For new places, Monsoon Poon is fantastic - thai/vietnamese - more a tour around asia as they put it. It\'s opposite One Red Dog. Had a brill butter chicken and red thai chicken curry there and other yumm stuff like eggplant dish, squid, satays - all yum. Allen st i think?

I\'m with Thumbs Up on Satay Village! That place rocks for a top meal on the cheap.

Otherwise, Tolsi on Cuba is the best curry place in Wellington, sports cafe may suck of a friday/sat night, but head down there on a weekday for the best $12 lunch in town. I recommend the steak.

Yeah, and oaks noodle house has got it going on too eh? It\'s farking ugly, but dam fine food all the same. Wellington eating rocks. Go Wellington!

lets do a biggie dinner then?
[quote]
I\'d be into that. We could go somwhere not to spensive and consume a fair amount of beer & wine - could be good..
[quote]
Yuuuum Monsoon Poon is soooo good
[quote]
What are you implying colgate? A drunken Biggie feast/orgy?

Are you gonna be at Fahrenhite bro?!
[quote]
mmmmm Beer wine but NO vodka it nailed me the other night
[quote]
Trancealot! Wassup man, yeah, I\'ll be alternating between Fahrenheit and Dis Funkit Saturday, hopefully see you there. Bumped into you at the last one man, waved at you but don\'t think you saw me. You going to Matterhorn beforehand?

A drunken Biggie orgy is all good, but no spirits for me, I\'ve learned my lesson after one to many nasty hangovers.
[quote]
Tell me about the hangovers man
[quote]
Worst one I ever had was after a cocktail party & then switching to beer at 2 in the morning, and shots at 3am.

Was vomiting from 9:30am to 4:00pm. Looked pale as a dead dude. Dam, sometimes a hangover can be so bad you wish you\'d chocked on your vomit the night before so you didn\'t have to wake up eh?
[quote]
Drunken biggie orgy!! yes, sounds good 2 me! Oh, and a meal thing sounds good too. I can relate to \"death by cocktails\' ooh, very nasty things them cocktails.
[quote]
Colgate-All good thanx dude! How bout yaself buddy? No doubt most of your time will be spent @ Fahrenhite enjoying the mediocre sounds of Trance and Hard House over the shit they\'ll be playing at Stud( Razz
[quote]
Oh no Gimpgirl.................Razz
[quote]
Muahaha, Disfunkt should kick ass Mr Trancey, I\'ll have you know. Smile
[quote]
Zibibo's not Zebo's the nicest food i've ever eaten in a resturant.......and they even carry your tray for you
[quote]
Original Thai in Island bay is great. Although it isn't a restaurant Pizza Pomodoro makes easily the best pizzas I have ever tasted. Nothing else comes close. Diva is also pretty damn good, although some times it can be a bit too much of a bar.
[quote]
Daawat and Whtibys and The Long Bar on Brandon. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
[quote]
Tulsi is great if you like a good curry!
[quote]
Shish Mahal for indian....it's on the corner of Victoria St and Manner's St, upstairs...damn yummy curry, cheap as fuck, lots of room...and then only a short stagger to Curve Bar/Studionine/Phoenix.
[quote]
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Tulsi, buttered chicken mmmmmmmmmmmm
