Not so much that, just the fact that the girl does little other than look and sound uncomfortable, and the guys are cheesy. Not top rate hip hop by any stretch, BUT they do well at 'rhyming about nothing in particular'. If you're into conscious lyrics and phat ass tunes, then look somewhere else. But if you like the quick fix kinda catchy tunes then they'll be right up there in your top 10. It depends on what u define as good. In terms of good nz hip hop, i'd go Open Souls any day - funky shit, relevant as lyrics and a great all round sound... and I think they'll have an album out soon...

Went to d12 last nite, it was wicked, anyway, fastcrew played b4 them, not the first time i seen them play live, they arnt bad, i think they try a little hard and they put on the stage voices, and that derome guy is the most uncoordinated idiot iv ever seen in my life, i dnt no if its just me but on stage hes way over the top and jus looks like a total try hard, sumtimes i dnt if hes taken the piss or jus so stupid.. dnt get me wrong, i went and got there albem to suport them, but sumtimes and espically in frount of d12 i think they are an embassarsment to hiphop. Im sure if u saw there performance at st james last nite u would no where im coming from.

i was at a party a few weeks back and got chatting to this guy from one of an "unnamed Auckland Hip Hop Crew" He was like yeah im a Fast Crew hatter, bla bla bla commercial sellouts etc... Then in the next line he was like how him and his crew are chasing a big record deal at the mo.... contradicting tall poppy syndrome if ever I saw it...

They have also stated they never take themselves too seriously (which can be the downfall of alot of acts in the music industry), personally I think for the two or so years they have been at it, they have done very well for themselves, and come on guys it's only their first album!

Fast Crew also have one of the best managers in the game, which is also, like any breakthrough act an attribute to their success.

Their album is good rhymes and catchy beats, it's not the x-ecutioners, nor do the Fast Crew try and pretend or act like the x-ecutioners, unlike this un-named Auckland Hip Hop Guy, who to me will always be what a hatter is, a has been who has never been.....
