Whos going to Fahrenhite for a big night! What do you think it will be like?!?

Not sure - haven't done Phoenix yet (being a relative newbie to the scene) so not sure what it's like as a venue. I've heard it's nothing in comparison to Sub9/Stud9 for dance events.

Nevertheless, the change would be cool.... *thinking*

It should be a good night even with Steve Thomas's absence, though it does mean that tickets are only $20 which is all good

For voiceinsideyou - Phoenix rocks as a venue for hardhouse and trance parties, I find that it has a better atmosphere than Studio & Sub 9

I suggest you along to Phoenix and then we'll ask you what you think in comparision with both Venues...

Bit of a Dissapointment Steve Thomas won't be coming, however our traditional Fevah residents Pooley and Hawkes will be there along with Mnemonik kicking the night off... Should be a packed night.

As I said, I haven't been there before and am just going on what some other people I've talked to have said - that they liked Studio9 much better.

Cool, cool though, might check it out for Farenhite ... maybe.

Yeah Phoenix is the one for dance events-Trance, Hard house, the gravel pit kicks arse for shaking your money maker all over the dance floor! Studio9/Sub9 cater more for the D'n'B, Dub things! But I'd rather be @ phoenix Trancing out anyday! Hope to see you all there, its gonna be a good one

Looking at HIP-E who's playing Studio9 on Thursday. Sounds like some good quality house. Bugger that it's a thursday night though, work the next day and all.

Question: Anyone gone all night, walked into work the next morning and made it throu the day?

Well Colgate, if you havent been to the Phoenix before, its a building made up of 3 seperate levels all ranging from different sizes and catering for various genres of House & Trance Music.

If you into your funky house and just chilling out on the couches, well then theres a smallish room just for you.

If your looking for something a tiny bit larger with more uplifting stuff and still want those nice soft couches to chill out on with a bar just across from you - then there is room at the very top to sought you out..

If you looking for something alot larger and want to join a crowd with amazing visuals, HardHouse & Nu NRG Trance, then look no further than the 'Main Room' - Absolutly blew me away the first time I walked in there for one of the Fevah's last year.

Excellent, sounds fucking amazing really. Hmm, might have to check it out soon, although I'm not sure if I can justify the $30 for Fahrenhite right now. :-/

As nsomnia posted earilier on in the forum tickets are only $20 due to the abscence of Steve Thomas quite frankly i dont mind nothing like our own homegrown kiwi DJ's rippin shit up on the decks

i love phoenix, the first time i went out pilling was there and i will never forget it :o) the windows in the chill out room are great, apart from when you drop stuff out them and jump out to get it and don't realise you're standing on glass and maybe you shouldn't have done that (not me) so - don't drop shit out the windows!!

Ermm, looks pretty good to me eh, but I'll reserve my decision until I've decided if I've done enough study. Have exam on Monday, and will probably need to study at the weekend, that's all. :-/
