F1 - What a weekend

Controversy, tight racing, and did I mention controversy?

A few really interesting thing: Alonso holding up Hamilton, Hamiltons reluctance to let Alonso past in the first instance, Mclaren not winning any championship points for the event, Massas complete lack of ability to move up through the field.

There was no tight racing - it was cars following cars around a track for two hours... with less passing moves than in any of the previous 30 or 40 races I imagine.

Hungary is lame - they should ditch it or change the track.

Ok then.

No passing moves, which yes does suck.

But the gaps between 1st and 2nd and 3rd and 4th were both 0.7 of a second. Still better than seeing a 37 second gaps.

I think that is more a case of being on their first race with the engine and wanting to make sure it is fine for the next one. A three second win in Hungary is as safe as a 20 second win in Monza...

Boring race - altho was interesting to hear Damon Hill for a change... What happened to Martin Brundle? Anyone know?

Brundle takes Hungary off every year.

It's just before the Summer August break, so he takes this race off to get a full month to himself with his family, I think he may also do some tin top racing in the break as well. He is also outspoken of his dislike for Hungary in his autobiography I've been told by a mate who's read it. Apparantly the hotels are miles away from the track, and a whole plethora of reasons he'd rather be elsewhere.

Remember last year it was Anthony Davidson doing the commentary as Jenson Button became a race winner *puke*.

What a joke. Crappiest win in F1 this decade.
