I was making those enquiries when i set up the topic.

Nice to see someone else other than ecler is making the move to digital.

Seeing as the aussie supplier of ecler, has stuffed the market for the nuo and evo 5's, by being greedy, i think the 4d will definitely make pioneer seem like a tortise, in the mixer market.

That wouldn't be hard! lots of wicked digital mixers out there better then pioneer!

Should have clarified, mixers that are control surfaces for digital mixing.

As for integrated mixers, the Korg mixers are way better than pioneer in my opinion. Zero 4 and 8 are wicked mixers.

Apparently jansens are the allen and heath importers, so i have sent an e-mail away and awaiting a reply on price and availability.

As for the ecler mixers an australian company was made the distributors for ecler in nz.

They went and jacked the price above the international rrp by $1200 aussie dollars.

The Evo which is ecler competitor to the xone4d would retail in nz for $5,000 plus because of it.

An evo 5 imported from canda would cost you around $3600 inc gst and freight.

Should have been canada.

I liked the look of that mixer, but still don't think it will have anything over the 4D. Especially since the software control is so advanced. The evo doesn't seem to have the control features the 3D or 4D have.

Hope the 4D addresses the issues the 3D had. Seemed to need a few bugs to be ironed out.

Looks awesome! Very very temped to fork out the cash for this one!
