Westwood, Luke Donald, Poulter, Paul Casey All great golfers with excellent demenour on the course (ok Im not a massive fan of Westwood) English players at no's 1 and 2 in the rankings!!

I also love the character of the current English cricket team, Jimmy is a dreamy clever seamer , Tremlett is so enormous is almost comical watching him run in- with an orge mug to boot, add the hard edge of transplanted Safas Trott/Pieterson/Prior and other excellent cricketers in Cook and Swann and I think England are easily the best balanced if not the best team going around

Plus the best fans...wats not to love?

Who remembers the ODI where England ran out a NZer (was it Elliot?) after Sidebottom cleaned him out and he was lying on the ground injured? Everyone should always run out an English player in any similar circumstances as payback.

Well Muli just lost his head, but we've belligerently argued that one before. My rationale in the Muli incident is pretty much the same one applied to Bell. The fielder actually did something brilliant and fooled Bell into thinking it was 4. Whats the problem there? Its freakish...but Bell made a mistake and wandered out of his ground .Stupidity is not rewarded in cricket...Unless Im missing part of the story? ( sinceIm just going off one replay I saw ) ,

I dont underdstand this Why would he call him back? Its not like they claimed a catch that wasnt or anything. I really dont see what Bells intent or whatever has anyhting to do with breaking the cardinal batsmen rule of staying in your crease. He just cocked it up. This is fairly obvious unless you are a crazy English hatin safa England has it all, fast bowlers, a clever seamer, a crafty spinner, greats bats, some tech correct and some belligerent, a solid as keeper and decent captain. (ok perhaps no premiem allrounder but who does have one of those these days?)

I think them being number one is thoroughly deserved

Who needs a premium all rounder when you have Broad / Bresnan / Swann who are all capable of scoring 50+ at a run a ball in any situation? Especially with Prior coming in at 7.
