Egypt tours

I really wanted to do an Intrepid tour to Egypt but they are booked for the dates I want to go so can anyone recommend any other really good tours to go through? I want to do a 8-10 day one

When I visited Egypt, I linked up with On The Go tours and found them to be great.


Tour guide was a fully trained Egyptologist who was lots of fun, great bunch of people to travel with and overall was a great experience and I was glad I did it.

But I guess it all depends on what you want to experience and which locations you want to see when you go to that beautiful country.

I went with Travelmood. I did a combined Egypt & Jordan tour. The Egyptian guide was awesome but the Jordanian one was shite. They got rid of the shite guide after our tour tho.

I still can't get over how much the Egyptian guides study. They know EVERYTHING!!! and most of them speak 3 or 4 languages. Our guide up Mount Sinai spoke about 4 languages and he said he did the climb a couple of times per week and could go up the hard way in 50 or so mins compared to 3 or 4 hours for us mere mortals He had mentioned speaking Russian to me and then when we got down the bottom of the mountain we came upon some Russian girls and off he goes talking to them!

actually I think the tour company is known as Travel Talk. maybe Travelmood is their parent company?
