The opening mixes are all the same . I don't really mind DJ's doing this, it's obvious from the amount of gigs they do they'd have a set pretty well down, just was abit dissapointing on the night to know pretty much exactly what was going to happen next :/

Another tearin' night courtesy of the virus kru, loads of wicked tracks with Rymetyme all class over the top of them.

Thought their set could've been a little longer, but the locals were the shit too so no complaints here.

But yeah, keep him away from DnB. The only dub artist ive heard who can do DnB well was the Mad Professor last year. Mind you, im pretty sure he could make polka tunes that would sound good, legend that he is.

I think the Mad prof may have produced the most tracks ever, I think its upwards of two thousand.

Hes also done stacks of collaborations with Lee Scratch, but i haven't heard any that i'd call drum and bass. If anyone does know of any in that style, post the track/album name as i'd love to hear it.

New zealand is long overdue for a tour from this baddest of badmans. even after a decade of smashing every rave he goes near, mickey finn remains one of the heaviest djs in jungle drum&bass music. it is a farce that noone has brought out the mighty mickey in the last couple of years.

Didn't he play at Nomanby Rd of all places a few years back?

mickey finn played for thunderground late 2000, it was a flop, they then followed it with the massive aphrodite tour a couple of months later
