E:\ is not a valid Win32 application

DL'd a couple of ISOs, mounted, can explore but whenever I try autorun or setup.exe that's the error message I get

Now my question is "is it a simple 64/32 bit conflict" i.e. is setup.exe a 64 bit app because when I rightclick properties on it it says its a 32 bit WinCAB extractor or whatever.

Have googled a fair bit

Tried mounting a bunch of other ISOs, they all ran fine so it isn't a Daemon tools problem.

I presume youve had a look at the registry fixes in google?

I would always be cautious of dl executables... look to see if your computer picked up a virus?

In almost every case I've ever struck this, it's been because the exe is corrupt.

Great. 2 x 7gb ISOs. Corrupt.

bob did a virus scan immediately. not sure about the registry fixes BUT I found a mention of a potentially wrong string in a regkey so I regedited and the regkey was correctly set (the autoplay shell)
