Hype;asf!?ck consists of young Dunedin DJs Gus & Contra. Having both started out as DJs around the same time, they naturally played together. When the duo started to play out they decided to perform as a pair in order to leave each other more time to drink/act cool standing beside the decks nodding professionally. With a bag of tunes ranging from the mellowest minimal techno & abstract hip-hop to straight dancefloor dubstep, glitch & electro Hype;asf!?ck roll out sets appropriate for any vibe. With Contra gone a-wandering it's left to Gus to keep up the traditions of Hype;asf!?k — get drunk/play tunes. Hype;asf!?ck have supported Silkie, Emalkay and Nero.

J-Red has been DJing out for 21 years and is a long established part of the Christchurch and international Dubstep scene. Resident at the Dubstep Central clubnight. Has supported Mala, Loefah, Coki, N-Type, Kode9, The Bug, Cotti, Pinch, Caspa, Benga, Plastician, Tes La Rok, Chef, The Others, Headhunter, Silkie, Excision, Zinc, Seven, Nero and SPL among others. A track he produced was included in the Dubstepforum.com Mix 1st Anniversary, which was selected and mixed by N-Type. Has recorded with Warrior Queen. Production duties include official remix work for Tiki ("All In Your Head" w/ Dutty Ranks), OG and Dubwise.

Minnie is a resident at the Dubstep Central clubnight, and has supported N-Type, Silkie, Emalkay, Antiserum, Nero, Freq Nasty and played the Phat 10 festival. Currently finishing her Diploma of Audio Engineering in Christchurch.

Maya & Vanya
Auckland-based DJ duo. Sisters, originally from Croatia. Have supported Crookers, A-Trak, Ajax, BangGang Djs, TV Rock, John Course, Goodwill, Aston Shuffle, Kasey Taylor, Bass Kleph, Magik Johnson, Greg Churchill, DJ Reno, Aural Trash. Have played Rhythm and Vines, Ministry of Sound, Slinky, Onelove, Electric, Torque. Promoters of the Thursday Tea Party. Show hosts on George FM.

Scratch 22 (From The ARC)
Auckland-based turntablist, producer playing out since age 15. Regular show host on Base FM. DJ for Auckland hip hop group The UnScene. Has worked with Dub Asylum, Louie Knuxx, Tourettes, Anna Codington, Cyphanetic, Breakinwreckwordz, Ladi6. Has supported DJ Krush, Dr Octagon, The Mint Chicks, Shapeshifter. Has played Splore, Rhythm & Vines, Phat08, and has toured in Oz, Japan, Spain, Holland, the UK. Promotes regular club night The ARC.

Dapht One
Auckland-based MC, DJ, promoter. Has supported Flying Lotus, Mala, Loefah, Coki, N-Type, Kode9, The Bug, RSD, Pinch, Caspa, Cotti, Headhunter, Starkey, Scuba, Benga and Truth. Has played Phat 06, Phat 10, Gibzone and iNation. Performed in London and Edinburgh in 2009. Regular guest MC with Christchurch's Subtle Soundsystem and show host on KFM.
