driving vs. being driven

Just curious if prople prefer to drive themselves to events or to be driven. Personally I always drive purely because its less of a hassle. I know how I'm getting home especially if i've lost people throughout the night. It's alos great for chilling out in, change of clothes, food, drink, etc. The only downside is that its not a good idea to drop that pill at 5am when the party finishes at 6.

bit of both really, depends on the buzz......thats why it's good i have a friend that kinda swaps with me, just whoever does or dos'nt feel like driving

I always end up driving because i've got a company car but I still hate driving home because I always think i'm straight until I hop into the car and then it's all on again.

i always drive, can't be bothered with taxis.

I always drive, but that's cos there's lots of parking in Wellington (a couple of blocks or less from Courtney place, Studio9, James Smiths, Starmart, Burger King, etc) and I live 35km away so there's not really much choice.

Well, and I don't drink/drop pills so it's not an issue.

always drive coz then you dont have to reley on other peoples all the time, its just a lot less hassel and its always comforting to know your gonna get home eg, havent lost ye mates who are driving!

I don't trust a lot of people's driving. Makes me very nervious sometimes.

I've always been very independant, and never rely on someone else to "carry" me...

me drive, cos i dont drink, so my mates can get peeled, plus they know i wont dissappear on them during the nite i just like to know how im getting home and can leave when I want

I definitely don't drive... i did once and all the lights looked kinda funny and it seemed to take me a REALLY long time to get from k rd to parnell.

so we taxi. or walk if it is a nice summery day (but then you bump into people on their morning walks which is kinda scary).

Most of the time I'll get a mate of mine who's always sober to drive my car in. I'm one to buy a few drinks at a club - not to get off my face though, I just like those Tequilas!!!
I'll then keep the keys on me, so if he/she decides to do the bolt on me, they arn't going anywhere in my wheels..
If they do take off (like they score or something) - then I've gotta sleep it off in my car... Now thats a bad buzz.

Often on of my friends will drive, cos they come around to the flat before heading into town. I usually have no problem with getting a taxi since it costs me $5 to get to town from my flat.

I walk unless its real far away. I love the looks you get from early morning joggers!! Its the best feeling coming out of a party with the sun on its way up covered in sweat and ears ringing. Just remember to bring your sunglasses!!

Haha! Gotta love some of the looks you get early in the morning. I often get strange looks as well walking home looking absolutely fucked.

driving all the way, iff im to peeled in the morning i will let some one else drive my car home but mostly i drive. its the independence thing i geouss.

Hehe, yeah, the looks are great. Doc Scott was on a Thurs night and when I got out at 7:30am, people were going to fucking work, and there I was grooving down the street with my mate Jayesh, drenched in sweet.

Hehe, it was impressive, my body just doesn't stop moving after events.

After the last Gatecrasher I walked home after being at Sinners until 11am or something, and I walked past my work - can't have been a good look.

i was the driver like all the time, it didn't bother me at all, didn't have to worry about how you were getting home. Then @ slinky my car got broken into and i haven't driven into town since, bout time i started again me thinks!

Yeah kaysha. You need to go to town on Fridays as well and give me a lift in. I'm sick of walking.

hahaha, some of us have to work on a saturday! Plus me gots exams, but ill have to check out the new nite @ bed sometime!

The fact of when you have been out at a dance club all night and to no you have your car in the morning is a great feeling. Sometimes you just dont want to go home
