Im listening to some lyrics, and theres a part talking about Dr.Dre and this guy jamayne(prob spelt wrong) anyone know who this jamayne guy is? What he has to do with Dre? and whats happened between them?

I need a bit of a history lesson.

Jermaine Dupri is the guy... basically Dupri made some comment in an interview that he didn't know why he wasn't considered in the same league as great producers such as Dre.

Dre seemed to get fucked off with that (disrespect or some shit?) and dissed Jermaine in that tune you heard. Then Jermaine replied in some recent tune with his own disses of Dre, Eminem and co...

I downloaded JDs diss record a while back and its the weakest rap I have ever heard, but at least he didnt use his entire stable to diss Dre.

i guess its their way of hypin the record sales : cheap promotion of their "badass ways" to make all those young impressionable teens to go "ooohhh, ahhhh, he sooo bad - lets buy the album!"

maybe a brilliant ploy on the part of those creating the music to generate sales
