...a little bit about your visiting musicians for the night:

STRAY THEORIES (Live - Timaru)

Stray Theories is a fusion of ambient soundscapes and lush melodies, with touches of industrial, triphop and, more recently, trancey elements. Micah's recent live sets have been known to pick up the pace, and he is also an accomplished saxophonist.

SHARKWEEK (Live - Dunedin)

Peter Lewis is the brains behind the Sharkweek project - his sound universe encapsulates experimental and ambient electronica, with sometimes lush, sometimes psychedelic, sometimes upbeat, but always engaging delivery.

...and now a little bit about the local crew - driving the event and providing the remainder of performances on the night...

nsu (Live)

One-third of UP FM's Beat Dungeon Radio line-up, as an electronic producer, Ivan blends the aspects of all genre-centric material out there and spits them back out as his own interpretations, with the usual nsu signature to it. From drum'n'bass to ambient, breaks to dub, it's all in there... somewhere...

ROMANTECH

Liquid drum'n'bass producer Matt Turner always brings upbeat vibes to the floor, but do expect some surprises as he closes off the night with a DJ set of his own works.

DISHA

The latest addition to the Dungeon team is Disha, and has in recent years taken a liking to genres such as dubstep, breaks, drum'n'bass and dub. Expect a solid downbeat warm-up to your evening, with a litle bit of local flavour. Wink

TONIGHT!!!

It would be great to see some of you guys drop in to Lot 44 and give your support to Stray Theories and Sharkweek - a rare opportunity to see these South Island musicians perform live in Auckland. You'll also be treated to DJ sets from Disha and Romantech as well as a live set by myself, nsu - possibly the last one for a while.

Action starts at 7, it would be great to see you there! Free entry and free CD's!
