I'd agree with one exception... Saleen S7

Surely the Viper is the best thing to come out of America?

No idea what the price tag on one is though.

I quite like the Dodge Viper GTS but I wouldn't buy one although they do a forkin awesome burnout hahahaha

That Ute is just a bloody gimmick for rich dudes, in reality the 'Performance Ute' idea just doesn't work.

Thats why no one races them except the Aussie V8 Brute series (awesome series but its more fun than seriousness)

My readings suggest that the viper has incredibly good handling and laps extremely well on a circuit.

A lot of this reading was on the rx7club forums from batmo owners.

This has a twin turboed viper engine in it.

whats your point? Smile I mean its 'cool' and all but whats THE point, you can strap turbo's to the side of anything and make it insane, its a gimmick. Car

Blade by point you mean arguement right? I was merely stating that this is pretty cool,

Never was comparing it to a fully set up race car, nor was I saying its better round corners than various supercars.

I was just stating it was pretty ballsy for a heavy truck. Smile thats why you crack me up blade, you argue for no reason. I'm amused by you. keep it up Laughing

If I had the choice between driving around in a truck or a car, I would choose a car. but would still buy one of these just to tow my wakeboarding boat down to the river. go for a board then tow it back to my pad, then go out on saturday night in my Enzo. Wink

Yeah of course, but thats no comparision because your comparing NA torque and power (from a V10 no less) to a 13B turbo Rotary which is an entirely different kind of power.

I just like people to explain there position, don't get all touchy because I like to debate/argue about cars, I love cars, thats why i give a shit.

I was never comparing it to a race car (coz thats just silly nor was I saying it was shit) I was simply saying that a massive turbo ute seems a bit pointless and wouldn't be good for anything other than impressing your mates and the ladies but hey, some people like that....

Im glad I amuse you, you obviously care enough to be amused so good on ya mate, keep it up. Oh and welcome to biggie Wink

The fact you would use a turbo petrol for towing shows a bit of ignorance, If I was gonna tow with that thing I'd take the turbo's off and just use the V10... thats why its a bit pointless with the turbo's, towing with a V10 twin turbo would use so much gas you'd have to fill up 3 times before you got to the river Laughing and you'd wear out the turbo's pretty damn fast.

I couldn't agree more that its ballsy to build a truck like that, thats what makes it cool, but its still just a gimmick.

Peace.

I am working on getting my car sorted for summer right now!!

Gotta get my bootlid made, new brakes fitted, suspension sorted, stalling issue fixed, one of my mates is making me a new catch tank/washer bottle, get my GTR plenum adapted and fitted, get my new intercooler (and the piping done), get the car dyno'd and then get the whole lot repainted woohoo! not to mention a new cert, warrant and rego plus various polishing/final touches

I'm pretty much serious to get it on the road by December I AM NOT MISSING THIS SUMMER! Mad (even if I have to go down the loan route again...) ah the joys of modified cars Car Very Happy

I run a profecB too Smile understand why you want one Smile

I'm pretty serious about getting it all done,

know anyone that wants to buy a Garrett Drag intercooler 600 x 300 x 100mm deep bar and plate?

I need to buy a slightly smaller large tube and fin one to help with my lag issues

There are a number of truck racing formulas in the US. The one that pops to mind most easily would be the Nascar Craftsman Truck series. Also the CORR series and the SCORE desert guys run mean pickup trucks. Mind you, all these are tube frame.

Your little 4cyl doesn't make enough puff to utilise my IC anyway Wink

looking for around $500 - $700 hopefully around the $700 mark because I've just priced up a HKS tube and fin replacement for $1000

currently set up for dual side entry with a divider in the closed off end, worked bloody well becoz of how standard skylines intakes go but can easily be modified for any other car back to the normal way
